OTHER NOTES:
Jeremiah Linde Jones' family settled in Dublin, Ireland. from Wales, prior to his birth. At the age of 14 he ran away and joined the Navy. He became Purser and Paymaster in the Royal Navy and was one of the first settlers in Parramatta, NSW, where he later died of pneumonia. His full dress tail Naval coat and sword is on display in the Braidwood Museum, NSW.
